Post 18: Let’s Go

Vehement instantly got about ten shades paler. “In...inside of me?” A shiver spread through his entire body. “So we have to get it out of both of us?” Bitter nodded.

“So how do we do this?” I asked, trying not to look scared.

“We need to find some Aglaophotis.” Bitter sighed.

“But wouldn’t Dahlia have destroyed it... if it’s so dangerous to her plan?” I asked.

“No. There will be some, just in case anything goes wrong.” Bitter reapplied.

“A failsafe.” Vehement smirked. “Any ideas where this thing might be?”

“There’s two possible locations.” Bitter pulled out a pen and his map, while I fished out mine and Vehement’s. “One, is Midwich Elementary School. The other one is Alchemilla Hospital.”

“So we split up?” Vehement asked, leaning over the two maps. “I’ll go with Avril... but which group goes where?”

“We’ll flip a coin.” Bitter rummaged in his pockets and pulled out a quarter. “Heads you go to School, tails I go to the School.” Vehement and I nodded.

Without further ado, Bitter flipped the coin into the air. It landed on the table in front of Bitter. “Tails.” I noted. “Vehement and I are headed for the Hospital.”

“Vehement knows what to look for. Be careful, don’t fight anything unless it’s got you or Vehement in a corner.” I nodded as Bitter gently placed a hand on my shoulder. “Be careful.”

Vehement stood and rearranged his knife on his belt before extending a hand to help me to stand. “Let’s get going.”

Together with Bitter we walked outside of the Police Station, before parting ways. Bitter headed back towards Old Silent Hill, while Vehement and I headed south, towards the Hospital.
