“What do you want with her?” Vehement practically growled as he shifted so that he was in front of me.
“My dear Avril, you have been chosen for the highest honor...” Dahlia spread her arms out and smiled again. “You have been chosen to birth God.”
“What?” I asked, raising one eyebrow as Vehement stiffened.
“You already tired to give your God life... twice you tried and twice you failed.” Vehement hissed.
Before I could ask what Vehement was talking about, static poured out of the radio as a strange wind started to play with Dahlia’s cloths. I reached over and grabbed by brother’s hand, squeezing it tightly...
“Now is the time for our God’s conception...” Dahlia whispered before raising her hand to point at me and muttering something to herself... as she did this the air behind her seemed to firm, the fog condensing into a deep black something. Vehement quickly wrapped his arm around me and held me close to his side as we stared at the black fog.
I couldn’t stop myself from screaming as the thick black fog rushed towards us.
